Ozgen is a Macroeconomist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Before joining Oxford, they obtained my PhD in Economics at the European University Institute (EUI), in Florence, Italy, where they worked under the supervision of Russell Cooper and Árpád Ábrahám. They are also working with the DMP team, a joint initiative of Bank of England, University of Nottingham, and Stanford University.
Their research interests are centred around Macrofinance, International Economics, and Monetary Policy. In their studies, they use micro-level data, and develop models with firm heterogeneity.
