Joe Perkins

Joe Perkins is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting, based in London. He works on a wide range of competition and regulation issues, including how to regulate leading tech firms and how to achieve net zero in the energy and other utilities sectors.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Joe was the Senior Vice President and Head of Research at Compass Lexecon. In addition, Joe was previously the Chief Economist at British energy regulator, Ofgem; Director for Regulation, Consumers and Competition at the National Audit Office; and began his career as an economist at HM Treasury.

Joe earned an MPhil in Economics (with Distinction) from Oxford University, where he was a prize fellow in economics at All Souls College
